If you can't tell, this post refers to the David Davis by election, which sadly has turned into a bit of joke. Its a real shame that no-one in support of 42 days has stood, which shows I think the flimsiness of their argument and the illusory nature of public suppport for the policy.
But this leaves Davis facing a collection of opponents of varying sanity, including the amazingly stupid David Icke, who believes that the world is run by Giant Evil Lizards, principally the Queen and Kris Kristoffersen.
Actually, he might have a point there...
